Will the programme work for our size class, school or centre?
We have classes, schools, centres and organisations with anywhere from 3 to 1000 pupils take part in our programmes. We have many in the middle of big cities and many small rural centres take part.
We already have a vegetable garden and are participating in The Heart Foundation’s programme, will the programme help us?
Yes, Definitely!
Having a vegetable garden is a great start and will help you in sourcing ingredients for the recipes. We have worked closely with the Heart Foundation to ensure your participation in our programme allows to you gain credits with their programmes.
Is food supplied with the programme?
Food is not supplied with the programme and you will need to source this yourself. The programme is designed around a small amount of seasonal, readily available ingredients to make it affordable for not only schools but also families or children taking part.
Is the programme for centres anywhere in the country?
Yes, as the programme is delivered digitally it is accessible to centres throughout the country.
What time commitment is needed to carry out the programme?

1 -2 activity sessions per month with the children is required. Sessions take 30 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on how far you want to extend the learning. The programme runs for 12 months.

Does someone come into our school or centre?
No, this programme is teacher led and delivered digitally. You receive new resources each week of the programme. You can of course save these resources for future use.
