Empowering children to try new foods and make healthy choices

From Fussy to Foodie…

Our mission is to empower children to try new foods and make healthy choices by involving them in food preparation, cooking, gardening and sustainability.

Today one in eight New Zealand children are obese [1]  and six out of ten do not  meet their recommended daily intake of vegetables[2].  New Zealand children also regularly snack on high sugar, poor nutritional value foods[3], which is linked to increased body weight.[4]

We provide teachers with the tools and resources to role-model enthusiastic, positive healthy eating during mealtimes, and influence children’s eating behaviour for the better.

We are taking the guess work (and hours!) out of developing learning resources for children around food, nutrition, health, gardening and sustainability by providing teachers with comprehensive, innovative digital programmes to guide them through these topics in an engaging and interactive way for students.
